2019 was a banner year for JQ Licensing image placement.
2019 shaped up to be JQ Licensing’s most successful year to date regarding placement of their Licensed images and custom designs. JQ Licensing is one of the oldest and most well-respected art licensing agencies specializing in wildlife, outdoor, automotive, horse, lodge and Adirondack licensed art. Jon Q Wright, president of JQL, has over 28 years of experience as an art-licensing agent. The JQL group of over 45 represented artists continues to develop new custom designs for JQ Licensing’s Licensors. JQ Licensing licensed over 80 new puzzle images to companies such as Cobble Hill, SunsOut, Cardinal, Masterpieces, Ceaco and TCG Puzzles. Many of these were heavily sought after custom designs created in their in-house custom JQ Design studio.
Through James Piazza’s leadership, head of the JQL ‘s custom design studio, they developed over 200 new sign designs for some of their top sign Licensors such as Desperate Enterprises, River’s Edge Products, A & M Manufacturing. One of the most interesting design line developments JQL created in 2019 was a large line of Guitar strap and Guitar pick designs for Perri’s Leather out of Canada and a large line of custom automobile air fresheners for Scent USA. With over 800 custom designs created in 2019, JQ Licensing expects 2020 to be even bigger with the ever-increasing demand for their custom licensed designs and with new Licensors discovering and utilizing their unique talents.
