After graduating summa cum laude at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara in 1985 Lucia started working as a graphic designer, then undertook her career as a freelance illustrator, collaborating with several Italian and foreign publishing houses for books, fairy tales, illustrated atlases, art prints and also images for stationery, calendars, textile products and gifts.
Lucia has a quality of naturalist illustration, very detailed and extremely realistic.
She works with all the traditional painting media such : oil, egg tempera, acrylic, color pencils, watercolor, gouache inks , graphite and even with digital media.
